             Jason is an award winning Melbourne based lighting designer, production manager and producer. His career has encompassed music theatre, drama, opera and dance. Jason has been engaged by companies including Andrew Kay and Associates, Lunchbox Theatricals (London), Paul Dainty Productions, Limelight Productions (Drury Lane, London), Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company, Opera Australia, The L'Oreal Fashion Awards, Manilla Street Productions, James Terry Collective, City of Melbourne, La Mama Theatre,Tasmanian Theatre Company. 

             Through the Broadway Masterclass at New York University, he gained an 

Internship with legendary Lighting Designer Ken Billington ("Chicago, Dreamgirls,

Hal Prince In Concert, Fiddler On The Roof"), on the Tony Nominated THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS (2012), in NY and returned in 2015 to work alongside him on the Broadway production of AMAZING GRACE at the Nederlander Theatre,New York, Jason was the Associate

Lighting Designer on the recent International Tours of London's Westend and Broadway

production of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG and the Westend production of the hit

comedy PETER PAN GOES WRONG for Lunchbox Theatricals, London, 

             Jason designed the lighting for the World Premiere season of ANTARCTICA - A NEW MUSICAL at the Theatre Royal, Hobart with critical claim and most recently Andrew Lolyd Webber's and Ben Elton's Australian Premiere production of THE BEAUTIFUL GAME. He lit the Australian Premieres of IN THE HEIGHTS, DREAMGIRLS, THE COLOUR PURPLE, MEMPHIS - THE MUSICAL, DUMPED - A NEW MUSICAL. 

             Jason's other designs have included the 2020 Green Room Nominated PRIVATE PEACEFUL (The Loft, Chapel Off Chapel), MATADOR - A DANCE SPECTACULAR (Sydney Opera House, Brisbane,Festival Centre (Adelaide),TONI CHILDS RETROSPECTIVE (Australian Tour), 2020 Green Room Nominated production of LEGALLY BLONDE (Melbourne), TWISTED BROADWAY (2015, 2016 State Theatre Arts Centre), AVENUE Q (Her Majesty's Theatre, Crown Theatre Perth), PARIS - A ROCK ODYSESSY (MKM Productions). For Red Stitch Theatre he has lit ABOUT TOMMY (directed by Kat Hendry), BEHIND CLOSED DOORS (World Premiere), ROAM - A MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTION (directed by Gary Abrahams) and OUT OF THE WATER (World Premiere) directed by Nadia Tass.  

               His national and international lighting designs include CARNIVAL OF THE LOST SOULS, SHAOLIN WARRIORS (2016 Australia/New Zealand Tour), MISTER MAKER (Hong Kong, Singapore, Manilla, Australia), THE CLUB (starring John Wood), MARILYN - HER STORY (48th Street Theatre, New York), ONE DAY OF THE YEAR, THE 39 STEPS (2013/2014), THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG (2012), ITS MY PARTY AND I'LL DIE IF I WANT TO (2013), WHEN DAD MARRIED FURY (2013), LOVE LETTERS, MANAGING CARMEN (2014), PEPPA PIG (Live On Stage), JUST THE TICKET, MOTHERHOOD - THE MUSICAL (2011/2012), DIRTY DUSTING (2010), and most recently WAIST WATCHERS - THE MUSICAL (Australian Tour 2019). 

               Jason has been nominated and won awards including 2019 Tasmanian Theatre Awards 'OUTSTANDING MUSICAL THEATRE DESIGN - LIGHTING ("WE WILL ROCK YOU") - Encore Theatre Company, 2016 Tasmanian Theatre Awards - 'OUTSTANDING LIGHTING and or VIDEO PROJECTION (ANTARCTICA - A NEW MUSICAL (Professional Theatre) - Tasmanian Theatre Company. Other lighting design awards include MUSIC THEATRE GUILD OF VICTORIA (2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2018), VICTORIAN DRAMA LEAGUE AWARDS (2008, 2009, 2012, 2013) and the 

NEW ZEALAND THEATRE AWARDS 2012 'Best Lighting Design for Regional Tour'.
